Ode to Mothers

Oh dear mothers, so common, so few.
Oh how we miss and love you.
Our sweet mothers we surely love.
Though often not told and not hugged.

The trials you faced, I never will.
The blood, sweat, and tears tampoco.

Every time I struggle, you lend your hand.
Every time I’m nervous, there you stand.

The troubles I face, you once knew.
The trouble was once with you.
Oh dear mothers, so common, so few.
Oh how we miss and love you.

Dedicated to my loving mother & moms just like her.
We really do love you.

P.S.  We also appreciate your reassuring advice.

Haiku Compilation

Gold, money, cash, rush
Dirty, churning water, gold dust
Sort, sift, getting rich!

Complaining, whining.
Change—redefining the world.
Your Nobel Peace Prize.

Making a dent—Change!
Improvement and progression
No more digression.

I am Logan—true
My name is Joshua too.
Staples—Staple-gun.

Like sponge—hard and soft.
Absorbing smells—exhale, lost.
Sleep! I welcome it.

Stop cursing my hopes
and dreams I plead.  Why won’t you
simply let me be?

Gossip, hate, fearful
Revulsion, Abhorrence, jerk
Haters gonna hate.

Sarcastic whiner
Condescending, rude, scumbag
Get a life! Grow up!

Five rings, open hearts
Seven losers fall apart.
Three winners ascend.

Segway. Stand and move.
Lean forward, back, not sideways.
Turn knob, turn Segway.

Electricity
Energizing Energy
Pulsing within me.

World passing me by.
Hindsight is 20/20.
Passing the world by.
